Between The Lines, Chapter Thirty Three - Jon Stickley Trio

We've got another great local Asheville, NC band for you this week... Everyone meet the Jon Stickley Trio! This amazingly talented eclectic group, compromised of Jon Stickley, Lyndsay Pruett, and Patrick Armitage stopped by the studio last spring and we are excited to get to finally share it with you.  So sit back, grab some popcorn (always popcorn. ALL THE POPCORN) and enjoy the newest #betweenthelines!

Between The Lines, Chapter Thirty Four - Forlorn Strangers

We first were introduced to Forlorn Strangers last spring during our 'Merch Madness' contest, and when we finally had the chance to meet them last winter we jumped all over it!  This group may be some of the nicest we've met yet, based outta Nashville, TN you should watch their interview, and then quickly find out when they are gonna be near you next, seriously.

Between The Lines, Chapter Thirty - The Suffers

Kam Franklin simply exudes personality and confidence, and man that makes for a great #betweenthelines! We stole The Suffers Frontwoman for a quick interview while both in Knoxville, TN enjoying Rhythm N' Blooms Festival back in April. In July we had the chance to see the band again at Newport Folk Festival, and this coming weekend you can catch them at Asheville's Downtown After 5, with local favorites Holy Ghost Tent Revival!

Between The Lines, Chapter Thirty One - Hip Hatchet

Hip Hatchet entered our lives a few years ago at SXSW, as he was playing keys for the band Quiet Life.  We made a point to follow him from there, and at this past years SXSW we convinced him to come by the studio the next time he pasted through Asheville. He happened to be touring our way only weeks later, and so another chapter of Between The Lines was born.

Between The Lines, Wildwood Edition - Ron Gallo

Well Y'all, it is upon is, another year of Wildwood Revival. To mark the start of the great weekend, we bring you another amazing artist we had the chance to interview at last falls festival, Mr. Ron Gallo.  Ron used to head up the band Toy Soldiers, and currently has an solo album out entitled 'Ronny' which we highly recommend!  Since Wildwoof we've been lucky enough to cross paths with Ron multiple times in Asheville, NC and on the road at places like Newport Folk Fest.  All this means you should Probably see where he is now, and go to there.

Between The Lines, Chapter Twenty Nine - Adam Export (Of Archie Powell & the Exports)

We first ran into Archie Powell & The Exports at Riot Fest 2014 in Chicago. A few of the Exports came by our booth to check us out, we saw them play some after parties with other local Chicago talents including Showyousuck and Neatherfriends.

Then we saw that they were going to be around Austin, TX during SXSW and we made plans to get someone to sit down with us for #Betweenthelines. Mission Accomplished. Enjoy Adam Export, of Archie Powell & The Exports.
